the national standards for plastic injection mold bases in China are divided into two types: small and medium mold bases for plastic injection molds (gb/t 12556.1-90) and large two wheel drive mold bases for realizing demand and supply (gb/t 12555.1-90). This paper only takes the standards for small and medium mold bases as an example. The structural forms of small and medium-sized mold bases are divided by varieties and models, i.e. 4 basic types and 9 derivative types. They are divided into fixed mold and movable mold base plates with shoulder and without shoulder. Another 13 varieties are added, a total of 26 mold base varieties. 1 establish and manage the mold base library in a parametric way

1.1 basic composition of the mold base library

3 conclusion

the use of database to manage the standard mold base information relieves designers from the tedious work of searching the parts catalog and standard data, and has more time to engage in creative design. The parametric method is introduced into the establishment and management of the database, which is convenient for users to design and modify the intelligent non-standard mold base module, and better meets the actual needs of the design.
