Smart home control technology and wiring mode

At present, smart home products on the market are divided into three technologies: wireless mode, centralized control and Fieldbus according to the wiring mode. Wireless control system can be divided into infrared communication, radio frequency wireless communication and power carrier communication. The basic concepts of these control technologies are introduced below

first, wireless communication technology

at present, wireless smart home systems mainly include power carrier and remote control switch. There are two types of remote control switch: wireless RF remote control technology and infrared IR remote control technology. The remote control switch is mainly the product of some traditional ordinary electrical product manufacturers. In fact, the remote control switch only adds the remote control function on the basis of the traditional switch, and some products also add the timed control on the remote control, but because of its single function, it should not be regarded as a smart home product

high frequency power carrier home control system is a representative product of wireless technology application. Power carrier technology uses 220V power line to transmit the high-frequency signal sent by the transmitter to the receiver, so as to realize intelligent control. The high-frequency signal transmission technology loads the 120kHz encoded signal onto the 50Hz power line, and the transmitting equipment sends the high-frequency signal to the receiver, and each receiving equipment sets an address code in advance. The address code is composed of room code (A-P) and unit code (1-16), with a total of 256 combinations. Therefore, using this system does not require additional wiring, which is also the biggest advantage of this system

power carrier technology was first applied in the United States. In the United States, this product is mainly used in the reconstruction of old houses, while in China, this problem is only considered when buying new houses or decorating old houses. If the house is decorated into the wall, it will feel incongruous to add a high-frequency function module on the switch plug. Some technical limitations of high frequency have become an excuse for criticism. For example, the response speed is slow (in 50Hz power supply system, it takes 0.62 seconds to transmit an instruction), and the anti-interference performance is poor (this is caused by the transmission of signal carrier in power line, which is a serious problem in our country). These are all substantive problems brought about by the promotion and application of power carrier system in our country

II. Centralized control technology

the smart home system adopting centralized control mode is mainly constructed through a system host with a single chip microcomputer as the core. The central processing unit (CPU) is responsible for the signal processing of the system. Some peripheral interface units are integrated on the system motherboard, including security alarm, telephone module, control loop input/output (i/0) module and other circuits

the main board of this kind of centralized control system is generally equipped with 8-way lighting and electrical control circuits, 8-way alarm signal input, 3-4-way meter reading signal access, etc. Due to the limitation of system capacity, once the system is installed, it is difficult to expand and increase the control loop

due to the star wiring mode adopted by these products, all security alarm probes, lighting and electrical control circuits must be connected to the main control box, which increases the length of wiring compared with traditional indoor wiring, and the wiring is more complex. At present, there are many such products on the market

III. fieldbus technology

the fieldbus control system realizes the networking and signal transmission of household lighting, electrical appliances and alarm systems through the system bus. The decentralized field control technology is adopted. The functional modules in the control network only need to be connected to the bus nearby, and the wiring is relatively convenient
